i went to mexico three times this summer to build homes and grow the relationships we have made across the border with rockharbor mexico and baja christian ministries.

we built 6 homes this summer over the three weekend trips. these are families and kids that have never had a house to call home.

i was pretty wiped by the end of the third trip but it was an amazing experience as always..

man down.

setup in a school, pediatrics, physical therapy and a full dental clinic

i spent the day in rojo gomez with the RockHarbor Mexico crew and medical team. i am still coughing from the day of hot wind and endless dust but the day was a success – the medial team saw over 100 people – they will be leaving for the refugee camps in Uganda just after christmas.

RockHarbor GO: Mexcio Day Trip (Medical Mission)

without comments

the july day trip to rojo gomez mexico was the largest team sent out from the RockHarbor medical team thus far. the team did a lot for the community and shows a lot of promise for upcoming global medical missions. many of the team are reservists for Hope Force International, i had a great time serving along side all of them.

this was my fourth trip to rojo gomez to build homes with RockHarbor, my first as a member of the leadership team and as unique an experience as all the others. it was an awesome trip. our team of 56 built two of the 30+ homes that were built over the weekend by over 300 volunteers from Baja Christian Ministries.

my renewed passion of photography started in mexico last august, i am excited to see my photos continuing to improve. a kind and generous friend (thanks john b!) lent me his 24-105 L for some time during the trip – the image quality and dust proof construction have really won me over, i will never buy another non-L lens.
